PACKERS BAY MARINA is proud to present
our fleet of 28 luxury houseboats. A small resort under the same ownership
since 1981, we take pride in our equipment and value our reputation for having
clean, well maintained houseboats. In our effort to have the best rental
fleet on Shasta Lake, we do have strictly enforced NO PET policy. - SERVICE IS OUR #1 PRIORITY
The support team at Packers Bay Marina is eager to please and dedicated to making your stay on Shasta Lake enjoyable. Should you desire service to your vessel during your cruise, you will find a professional support team that will anticipate your needs and exceed your expectations. Packers Bay Marina is noted for the fastest, most thorough "pit stop" on Shasta Lake. Come join our "family" of satisfied customers for the best vacation you will ever have.
- LOCATION PLUS
Packers Bay Marina is located in the "hub" of the lake just northwest of the Pit River Bridge and two miles by car off I-5. Packers Bay Marina is a deep water harbor with launching available to 14r ft. below the high water line. There is paved access to the dock for ease of loading and unloading. Parking is available at the marina in our gated parking area for no charge to our houseboat rental customers. See attendant at security entrance for assistance in where to board and park. (A fee is required in the adjacent public areas.)
- "THE HOUSEBOAT CAPITAL OF THE WEST" With over 370 miles
of shoreline, 30,000 surface acres of crystal clean water reaching 75-80 degrees
in the summer months, there is something for everyone, young or old, to enjoy
about Shasta Lake.
Try your luck at catching 17 varieties of fish including Blue Gill, Bass, Trout, Salmon and Sturgeon, either from the patio of your Packers Bay Houseboat, or from a rental craft available at practically any location around the lake.
- SEE THE WONDERS OF SHASTA CAVERNS, seen for the first time by a white explorer
by James A. Richardson, a federal fisheries employee. His claim of discovery
is still clearly legible on the wall where he wrote it that day - November
3, 1878 with carbide from his miner's lamp. Explore the shoreline for fossils,
learn about the copper mining era and the Wintu Indians that once inhabited
the area.
There are hundreds of hiking trails and secluded spots you won't believe, but if you tire of all this relaxation, fine dining and entertainment are available at several locations near and around the lake.
All of us at Packers Bay invite you and your family to join us and see everything listed above with our sincerest wishes for some of life's fondest and most fun-filled memories. We're sure that once you've stayed with us, you'll be planning your next trip before you leave the deck for the last time.
